Here we have listed a few of the questions we are more frequently asked by our customers as they plan for their new installation. Hopefully they will help you too. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us via our contact page or by calling 01926 423 558 and we will be delighted to help.
1. Would you be prepared to come to a meeting in the evening or on week-ends? And, do you cover Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Gloucester and Cheltenham?
We do offer evening appointments in all of the areas listed above. If we are visiting your home then please provide us with your full postal address including postcode. Also its always helpful for some further information if it is only a house name i.e. landmarks etc. Also, your email is useful.
2. Is there anything we need to do to prepare for this meeting which will save time?
No, not really. If you are involved in building work - like creating a new kitchen extension - please make a copy of the architect's plans. We shall come fully prepared to answer all your questions, explain the range of options and carryout a survey. We are assuming that at this stage you have decided on the style of room you require and, in the case of a new kitchen, what application you have in mind.
3. How would you describe your product range and how much do you charge? What, for example, is the cost of a new kitchen?
We supply handmade/bespoke and factory made kitchens in all styles: handleless, ultra modern, modern, classic and traditional. We don't supply 'cheap boxes' or modules but we do supply branded products cheaply whether hand-made or factory-made over the price range £3000 to £30,000. As explained elsewhere on this website we specialise in providing practical and 'good looking' solutions to awkward spaces wherever they are in the house.
We also supply a complete range of fitted bedrooms, home offices and studies.
4. Is there any general advice you would give us when choosing a new kitchen?
Yes, invest in a good carcass. Should the worktops and door panels suffer appreciable wear and tear - and they always do over time - you can keep your kitchen looking pristine by just replacing the worn items, thereby avoiding a total refit. The other bit of general advice revolves around how long you plan to stay in your present house. If you are likely to move in the next few years we suggest you buy a 'popular' design which is likely to appeal to the majority of potential buyers for your property. It very much depends on your property and where it's located. If, for example, you have a substantial country family house, including a double oven within the new kitchen design may be an astute move.
5. How long should we allow for completion of the installation?
Assuming the survey hasn't thrown up any major problems with the water, electricity and other services eg. you need a new ringmain, then 4-6 weeks is fairly normal. We suggest you allow 4-12 weeks in your early planning and check with us current lead-times when we meet for the survey.
